Appellate Practice
Our attorneys provide our clients with representation beginning in the trial court and through the appellate process. As part of our representation in the trial court, our clients become intimately familiar with the facts of our clients’ cases. If there is an appeal, our attorneys have the skills that allow them to continue their representation through the appellate process. This allows our clients to benefit during the appeal from our intimate knowledge of the facts of their cases that our counsel derived in the trial court.
Our attorneys have developed the distinct legal skills demanded by appeals of trial court decisions, which allows us to effectively and zealously represent clients for the first time on an appeal. Our clients rely on us to employ these skills to rigorously analyze legal issues and write sophisticated and creative briefs.
The attorneys at K&F understand the importance of using the limited time allowed during oral argument to persuade judges on the most essential and critical aspects of the dispute. Our cases often involve novel issues that the Court has yet to encounter. Our attorneys are prepared and confident when they argue in the appellate courts.
